The call for abstracts for the 53rd International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering (Inter-Noise 2024) is open.
The congress will take place in the city of Nantes, France, on August 25–29, 2024.
The general topic is Noise and vibration control, combining academic research and industrial developments, and more specifically the following topics (through more than 130 sessions):
- Vibration & acoustical engineering science
- Industrial & transportation applications
- Material, architectural & environmental applications
- Human factors.
A more multidisciplinary approach is proposed. It crosses noise and vibration issues with art and music, education and science dissemination, social sciences, bio-diversity…

- We look forward to receiving your contribution by February 9, 2024.
- Abstract notification acceptance is scheduled for March 1, 2024.
- Registrations will be open from December 1, 2023, up to April 12, 2024, for authors.
Inter-Noise 2024 will be a good opportunity to share experience and gain valuable exposure within the global community in noise control engineering.
The conference program will be structured to maximize scientific discussions, including parallel technical sessions and keynotes focused on the core topics of Inter-Noise and on the theme of the congress: from Jules Verne’s world to multi-disciplinary approaches in acoustics & noise control engineering.
Poster sessions will also be proposed with dedicated flash presentations.
